Bow Ties In Sausage and Pepper Sauce

The familiar partnership of peppers and sausage is even better with three colors of sweet peppers and makes a 30 minute weeknight dinner special.
8 oz. uncooked bow tie pasta
12 oz. sweet Italian sausage, cut into 3/4-inch pieces
1 1/2 cups thinly sliced onion
1 1/2 cups EACH thinly sliced red, green and yellow bell peppers (4 ½ cups total)
2 cans (15 oz. each) Contadina® Tomato Sauce
1/2 tsp. dried oregano or 1 ½ tsp. fresh oregano
1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Cook pasta according to package directions; drain.
Meanwhile, cook sausage and onion in a large non-stick skillet until sausage is lightly browned. Drain if needed. Add peppers; cook 2 minutes, stirring frequently.
Add tomato sauce and oregano. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat; simmer, uncovered, 5 minutes. Stir in pasta and toss with Parmesan cheese.
