Arrabiata Pasta Sauce
This fresh-tasting Arrabiata sauce recipe well with shrimp or chicken as it does on cooked pasta. Learn how to make the perfect Arrabiata sauce today.
1/4 cup olive oil
2 tsp. minced garlic
1/2 to 1 tsp. dried red pepper flakes
1 can (28 oz.) Contadina® Crushed Tomatoes
1 can (15 oz.) Contadina® Tomato Sauce or Contadina® Tomato Sauce with Italian Herbs
Grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
Coarsely chopped fresh parsley (optional)
Heat oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Add crushed tomatoes and tomato sauce; bring to a simmer. Simmer on medium-low 10 minutes.
Toss sauce with 1 lb. cooked pasta, or serve with cooked shrimp or chicken. Top with cheese and parsley, if desired.
