Ingredients

Sauce Ingredients 

8oz Contadina Tomato Sauce

3oz Contadina Tomato Paste

1 tsp Italian Seasoning

1 tsp dried oregano

¼ tsp salt

⅛ tsp black pepper

½ tsp onion powder

¼ tsp garlic powder

 

Pizza

2 refrigerated pizza dough balls

3 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

8oz cooked Italian sausage

¼ cup fresh basil, chopped

Directions

  1. Pizza Oven: pre-heat up to 750 degrees.

    Conventional Oven: 500 degrees. Recommend a pizza stone

  2. Mix together your pizza sauce ingredients in a bowl and set aside. 

  3. Add cornmeal to your pizza stone. Prep your dough by stretching it out. Place it on the peel, add ½ of the sauce to your dough, sprinkle half of cheese and then sprinkle half of the sausage on top. 

  4. Pizza Oven: Bake for 5-8 minutes

    Conventional Oven: Bake 10-14 minutes (golden brown edges)

  5. Remove, top with fresh basil.
